WebJul 6, 2010 · Both interfaces have their quirks. Tina-TI doesn't seem to like it much if you try to run a simulation without an IC. I'm not real crazy about how LTSpice draws wires (my screen seems to flicker a lot) but once you get the hang of it, you can do quite a few things. The Yahoo! LTSpice group has a bunch of models ready to download and install. WebI started experimenting with Circuit Design / Simulation today and the softwares gave me a bit of a headache. I downloaded LTSpice and it's ok so far but implementing own models is a nightmare. I also tried TINA, because it already had some TI models but it's basically the same problem. (As it is Spice based I guess?)

I have been used Proteus, Tina, LTspice for a long time and I faced many problem with simulation software but speed is not one of them. 40 minutes is unbelievable.
